Purchased these for golf trip weekend. Got them right before I left, so I didn’t really have time to try them out other than to make sure they were the right size. So essentially put them on and hot the course. Played 18 and my feet were never sore or fatigued. Started in the morning and had no issues with my socks getting wet. Fit and function like a pair of athletic shoes. No spikes or crazy treads, so they looked great for lunch at a nearby restaurant… after the 19th hole of course ?. Very comfortable.Good shoe for dry conditions. The traction is not great in early morning dew.I read the negative reviews only on this shoe and agree with two points made: this shoe runs 1/2 size larger than the rest of my shoes (noticeable side by side); the tongue is stitched to the shoe (nice feature), which makes these difficult to slip on. I have a narrow foot and it takes a little effort. Those two minor negatives aside, this is a great looking, lightweight and comfortable shoe. They were not intended to be water resistant. I like to walk when I golf and these are the best golf shoes I’ve owned. The material used is impossible to clean properly meaning my shoes look old and dirty after just a month or so. Not what you would expect from Footjoy at all.All good.
