I bought these for hot days when I walk the course. These shoes are well ventilated and prevent my feet from overheating.The grippy-ness of the spikes is less than I'd prefer. I still feel my feet shifting when standing on a slope and the effectiveness of the spikes is almost nonexistent in wet conditions like early morning dew. These are still my go to spikes for most of the year but I wear other spikes when it's wet or during the cool season.
