The most comfortable golf shorts I've ever owned. The rubberized waist band keeps my shirt tucked in the back when I golf. They fit great with one exception: they are a little immodest in the groin area due to the thin, stretchy material (which is also what helps to make them so comfortable.) Also, the pockets are definitely not deep enough. I have a common-sized phone, and the top of it sticks out of my pocket. When I'm driving, it feels like the phone is going to fall out of my pocket. Wife and daughter are always warning me that it looks like I'm going to lose my phone. I use these for golf and there also, the pockets are not large enough. These do a great job at moisture wicking. I've also had some REALLY bad stains, even extensive stains from a ball point pen. I put Shout on it, rubbed it in, put it in a plastic bag for a few days then washed and all the stains came out which was impressive. If you don't mind the points I mentioned above you'll love these shorts. They fit true to size and the waist band is snug but elastic at the same time. The shorts themselves come down to just above the knee, have a great feel to them and allow for moisture wicking. The lined pockets are a nice touch. The inner grip liner on the waist band holds a golf shirt (or in my case - a referee jersey) nicely in place without it coming untucked. Perhaps the best feature is actually the smallest - a steel button riveted in (similar to blue jeans) for buttoning up. If you are like me and tend to strain that area of the waist band, you know how important it is to have that style of button over the sewn on plastic style button. Yes, these shorts are a bit more expensive than other brands and some of that has to do with the Adidas name but the quality more than makes up for that.Nice fabric, love the stretch, OK length for me (6'1") but would prefer an inch shorter. The stay tucked shirt feature should be standard on ALL slacks. So why just 4 stars? First the color is a bit brighter than I thought but mostly the pockets are way too shallow. If you carry a phone, wallet, Pro V's or anything of value in the front pockets BEWARE. I found myself constantly checking to make sure nothing fell out especially getting in and out of a golf cart all day. They are cool and comfortable but that one flaw needs correction before they can be called ULTIMATE. Oh, and a zippered, inside cargo pocket or two would make them even better than that. My new "go to" best shorts are Chaps Golf 78. No stay tuck feature but in my eyes are Ultimate shirts. Tough to find at a reasonable price except on eBay.I really like these shorts. Before deciding on keeping these, I bought comparable pairs from Under Armour and Nike and while these were a bit narrower around the quads, the big differentiator with this pair is that they actually repel water and do not absorb moisture; I ran all three pairs under the kitchen sink, and only the Adddias pair had that characteristic.After deciding to keep these and take them for a spin on the course, they performed well and were cool throughout a 90 degree (plus high humidity) round, did not show sweat and even retained the water repellancy after going through a wash cycle.Highly recommended!I really like these shorts. My only two complaints are I wish they were 1 inch longer (I wear a 34 length pant), and I wish the pockets were a little deeper. I lost a couple of ball markers and tees when riding in a cart as they would just slide ride out of the pockets. I do not have this problem with other shorts. I would buy these again at the right price, but would go with a different pair if paying full retail.These are so cool and light! The color is also very fun and different. I would note that the back pockets are actually fake pockets, something I didn't realize before I bought them. But the feel of the material and how they feel when you golf is totally worth it. When it's real hot outside, these feel much cooler than other shorts I own (even some other golf shorts). I would highly recommend these if you can get them for under $40For some reason the back pockets are threaded shut. There are back pockets as I can see them from the inside but there are threaded shut. I can cut those threads and fix it but it just confused me on why that isThese are the most comfortable shorts out there. I like them so much I'm getting a pair for my dad for Father's Day as well. The only, very minor critique I have of the shorts is the mesh pockets. However, I'm quite sure the mesh is cooler and lighter than pockets of another material, which I most likely why they are made of the mesh.
